Thomas P. Fischer is the founder and President of Immigration Specialists, LLC. Formerly the District Director of the INS from January 1988 until 1999, with jurisdiction over Alabama, Georgia, and North and South Carolina, Mr. Fischer knows firsthand the complex issues facing employers and employees in today’s global workplace. Since retiring from the INS in 1999, he has served as an immigration consultant to national and international firms, traveling to many parts of the world on behalf of his clients. Through the formation of Immigration Specialists, LLC, Mr. Fischer now offers immigration law compliance programs, private audits of immigration related documentation, contract review services and management training to all employers regardless the size of the company or the number of employees affected. Throughout his career, Mr. Fischer has identified and resolved employee immigration issues with favorable outcomes for employers and employees alike while adhering to current federal laws and statutes and without inhibiting the productive flow of enterprise.
