REVIEW policies to assess compliance with 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act (“IRCA); the Immigration Act of 1990, and the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of September 23, 1996.
TRAINING/ORIENTATION regarding the provisions of IRCA including: hiring patterns and practice, anti-discrimination issues, liability, non-compliance ramifications, civil and criminal penalties.
AUDIT of Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification (mandated by IRCA) .
ASSESSMENT of audit findings and consultation with corporate staff members to remedy any deficiencies. “HANDS-ON” TECHNIQUES for compliance with IRCA responsibilities. CONTRACT REVIEW to ensure any outside independent contractors or recruiters are complying with IRCA guidelines. APPEARANCE with employer/representative at federal hearing/audits review. IMMIGRATION SERVICES: non-immigrant visa coordination; U.S. consular visa issuance and immigrant visa consultation. |
